So our wedding is less than 5 months away. And honestly the wedding plans are not even daunting me. Because my parents are throwing my wedding through the criuse line there isn't much to worry about. We are getting married in San Juan, PR on May 10, 2009 just before we take off on a 7 day cruise. Our cruise goes to Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten, & St. Croix. The wedding is taking place on the beach in front of the Marriot & we will be having a reception dinner on the ship.
The only semi-stressful part is the reception in Utah...which hopefully will turn out like I want it. But with money how it is right now it is going to be hard to pull it off. Here are some of my ideas so far.

I really like this cake, with a lot less going on with it. I only want the dots on there, the starfish, shells, and seahorses. And obviosly no fish bowls on the top. I also want to put a chocolate brown ribbon on the bottom of each tier. My mom bought a cake stand that looks like this to put the cake on:
The groom's cake is still under works. I was thinking something Harley Davidson related, but I am not sure just yet.
Tables
Brown tableclothes (hopefully I can find a reasonable vendor to rent them from), with a bowl/sand/shells centerpiece, & tiffany blue rose pedals spread about.
Beyond the look I mostly just want out reception here to be casual. We are going to have a ton of finger foods with music going on with plenty of dance space. I am going to try come up with a Church appropiate playlist to play while everyone is there. Also, we are giong to make a video of our wedding/honeymoon that we will play off to the side on a projector screen so people that weren't able to see us get married will be able to.
